The Mess

Here is a pict of my kitchen.. The boxes are the cabinetes.. The floor is done the walls are up- now I just need a sink.. Eating out sucks.

Today felt like Christmas. A batch of postcards I got done where sitting at my door. I just picked up some stuff from the printers and Paramount had sent me this box of goods. I was so stoked! They are all incredible over at Paramount Apparel. I have been lucky enough to assist them on some of their projects. If you ever need a hat manufacturer – these are your guys. Honest – Sincere – I am not saying this just because I love them.. Its all true!

Here are some other reasons we sometimes decline a design:

- The number one decline reason is that your design did not pass the initial panel of Judges. Each submission must be approved by 3 Judges before being put in the running. Due to the large number of submissions we receive, we cannot accept every submission into the running.

- Improperly sized thumbnails and designs
- The design has too many colors
- The design has a gradient or halftones
- Submission did not use the templates
- Inappropriate material within the design
- The design is too large to print
- The design contains copyrighted material

Magic- Pool – Project!!!

Its going to be a crazy week. Wrapping up all the loose ends and getting myself together for LasVegas then a short little road trip to Los Angeles with Josh. So much to get accomplished in so little time.Its going to take a good part of the week getting my hair product together for the road- ha. I finished some small touches on a littl promo piece over the weekend. Chuck over at Iron Forge is printing some of it up this week. Its not a book- but it will work.

I am lucky enough to be joining forces with Chuck Loose at Iron Forge Press to create a Queens of the Stone Age poster for an up coming show. Its a work in progress. I will post it when its done. I will have them for sale too.

This is by far the coolest shirt yet. I have decided to call it Page 14. Thought of this while on the phone with a buddy of mine. I thought it was funny as hell. Making fun of the fact that everyone uses Dover and what better way then to do it pure.

Antoher product post. Burton Dominant

I was thumbing through the new Burton catalog when I saw this! This is by far the sickest thing I have seen in a long time. The old G&S board with ribs and everything. I remember styling out my decks with grip tape scissors and some paint pens. The good old days. The concept and execution of this board is incredible- I just wish I would have thought of it.

Ok- I am not crazy about the name. Actually not crazy about the logo either. I am in love with the sandal. My weekly ritual of going to my local surf shop and buying something I really don’t need. Like another RVCA shirt because I don’t have it in that color or another NewEra hat for my closet.
After seeing the ads for these about a million times skimming through surf mags I decided to check em out. They are amazing. Living in florida where I rarely where shoes and suffer from 7/11 feet (dirty feet from running around barefoot) these come in handy. If you haven’t slipped a pair on- do it! They are by far the best things I have purchased for my feet. Sanuk

I was working late on a project last night. I have a lot to get done this week so I was trying to get as much done to get ahead of the game this week. So in the wee hours of the night I decided to play around with a bunch of different elements from a bunch of different pieces. The Bali mask was part of the illustration for a client. The rest was what I came up with when I was sleep deprived.
